One afternoon I became fixated with the personality of the word remnant. In particular, the odd finding of the neighboring "m" and "n" given their proximity in the alphabet and rarely elsewhere. It wasn't until I pursued it further that I realized it also referred to the scraps generated by the garment industry.
Embracing this traditional understanding of the word, the concept began to take shape and with it a logo. Focusing on this unique character placement, the neighboring "m" and "n" nested perfectly well together to become one. Taking on many iterations, we enjoy seeing the continued evolution.
